Last weeks Presidential debate transformed the electoral map. The second map below shows the electoral count before the debate. RCP was giving the Obama/Biden ticket 265 electoral votes and the Romney/Ryan ticket 191 electoral votes. With 82 electoral votes in the toss up category. After the debate between Governor Romney and President Obama which took place last week we have seen a huge jump in the polls for Mitt Romney. That jump is shown in the national polls and in the state polls. (Click here for today's polls) Before the debate Wisconsin, Ohio and Pennsylvanian were all in the lean Obama category.
